Having grown up in the home of a general contractor, Douglas Elkins has been involved in many facets of the construction industry, in one way or another, for the vast majority of his 57 years of life. Painting has been a part of that for well over 20 years. After they returned to the States, from a period of time in missions work overseas, he turned to painting as a career supplement to his ministry involvement. Much of that time was spent working with his brother-in-law at Miller Precision Painting based out of Judah, IN.

In the spring of 2016, God blessed Doug and Nannette with a MIRACLE granddaughter. Their desire to be a part of this little blessing’s life (and her parents also) motivated them to relocate to the city of Murfreesboro, TN. Final Coat Professional Painting was birthed shortly thereafter!

We specialize in residential, commercial, interior and exterior, new construction and remodeling. Additional services that complement our painting services are pressure washing and minor drywall repair. In addition to these services, we also have experience in masonry, carpentry, ceramic tile, concrete finishing and other areas. We also have partnered with other contractors in the area that can be called upon to work in areas that are beyond our expertise.
